I took a trip down to the uber cool Hoxton bar and grill last night to see Bonde de Role. What a crazy night. The cool cats were sporting 80s perms and the place was hot, packed and apparently full of tossers - well so I thought in the 15 minutes we waited for them to come on. I thought I was either going to have a claustrophobia attack or faint in the heat!
But all was forgiven the minute they stepped on the stage. Four very over excited nutters. Drinks were thrown, clothes were taken off (I have never seen a woman so happy to be jumping around topless), I was hit on the head with an inflatable palm tree. They were crazy, sexy and cool and I would catch them now before they get calmed down by a well meaning record company.
I would like to apologise to all those on the train home with me. I did shower as soon as I got in honest.
